Good day to all!

Recently I’ve been itching for solid gold pieces and I came across this little number.

A solid gold Omega triple date moon phase. (Sorry if the photos aren’t that great, the lighting was no where ideal🙁)
I’ve been reading up on the older threads regarding them and it seems the font is if correct with the flat top ‘A’ and the date colours does match the colour of the date hands.
That being said, I’m still a young Padawan and would love to have the masters chime in on this.

Here’s some case and movement shots

Thank you!

Lovely and far better on the leather than that bracelet IMHO. I'm looking for a gold one with a black dial and English day/month wheels. I don't really know why as they're tiny by modern standards and I know that about 42mm to 45mm is the range for me.

Over all it looks like an attractive watch. But I‘ve seen so many repainted TDMP dials that I get super carefull about them when I see one.
The minute track on this one looks okay and consistent.

But the Fonds of the date numbers are inconsistent in my opinion.

Compare the number 2 through out the dial, especially the angle of the opening on the bottom of the 2. also the number 7 seems to be inconsistent.

This may as well be caused by distortion of the crystal. Hard to tell without having the watch in hand.

I‘m not an expert on TDMP‘s by any means, but this is something I would give a closer look.

Also the Fond of the Date seems to be thicker than the Month on the date Wheels. I don’t know if this was intentional with this model.

Hopefully some real experts chime in.

Cheers,

Max

Agree with Speedmasterfan88. I think the outer date numbers have been redone. Another telltale sign is the number 8.Varies across.

I have a TDMP with the same dial, your example looks correct to me. Here’s mine:

Nice watch!

As I said, without having the watch in hand, or the seller providing a picture with the crystal removed, it's hard to say if it's just distortion from the crystal edges/ angle or if it's realy inconsistancys in the print.

I have to say that on your example the Fond looks thinner and more refined as on the OP's watch. Especially on the Day and Month Datewheels.
Also take a look at how crisp the edges of your Datewindows are, on the OP's watch they look way less refined.

Another difference is the crosshair. Yours is touching with the lower edges of the Moonphase Window, while the OP's watch isn't.

I'm still going with redial on the OP watch.

Cheers,

Max

Looks stunning on the leather! I’ll leave the experts to comment on the dial.

Nice piece you have there!
It does look identical especially to the fourth photo.

Hmm yes this I do agree.
Btw it’s not my watch, i wouldn’t buy something that I have doubts about haha. So the proper term will be “watch OP posted” 😁
