Omega with the logo on the back?

I read somewhere that Omega never put their logo on the back of the case. That´s supposed to be a way to spot fake watches.
Does that apply to this one? It kinda looks a bit too clean to me, but at the same time I really like the look.
What do you guys think?

Where did you read that? It was pretty normal in the 70´s on watches like this.
I think you are confusing Omega with Rolex. I am by no means an Rolex expert, but as far as i know, Rolex never have their logo on the caseback.

The watch in question seems quite polished, and those 70´s Geneves aren't exactly the most sought after. I hope the price is good.

Ooooooh AaaaaaaH, that's a nice one!

18K Solid Gold, and "specially Inspected" too. You lucky boy you.

(First one in the thread by Dennis, a classic too!)

Yes, I know, should've explained a bit further. I wonder if it ever got smashed or if it's still out there?
I knew you were kidding. I just didn't want anyone to think I actually owned that mess.

I was confusing the Omega Watch Co. logo as @efauser correctly mentioned.

Edit:
It´s an auction on Ebay. It´s at US $87.09 right now
