I think this one will need to be seen in the flesh before we know really what its like, if you guys remember the Grey Side had an equally lukewarm initial reaction when it was released at Basel and was really ignored initially by a lot of the watch sites until people started receiving production versions, that watch looked far better in actual photos from owners than in the renderings.

just for comparison

unlike the Alaska, with contrast bezel and red second hand, this new WSOTM is just too many black words, numbers on a completely white background, the red speedmaster word is not enough.

The benchmark white ceramic watch will always be the Chanel J12 - introduced in 1999. Officially a unisex watch, but I've never seen a guy wearing one... It is a beautiful watch though. I'm sure Omega will sell a ton of these in any 'case' ... I'd rather my wife wear one of those instead of some diamond encrusted monstrosity. She already has the J12 though, and why would anybody want two similar looking watches?? Oh hold on a sec...

Quoting my SO, "it looks like a lady's watch, but the kind you would get married in, take off, and then put away".

Not sure i would like it on a woman... Rather see a woman wearing a propper speedy with pride. This is more a hip hop video watch

Not every lady wants a white watch, especially with the 9300 being as thick as it is. Let's hope there's something more exciting to be announced.

Taking the obvious aside. Curious about why only two subdials on these side of the moon watches

Does this mean that if I wear a Rolex Sub, I'm an a**hole? 🤨😉

Unlike the DSOM and GSOM, this watch does nothing for me.. I'll reserve final judgment until I see it in person...

Only 2 subdials are pretty normal for every "XXX side of the moon" with the Co-Axial 9300 calibre ...

Yes I know that. Just wondering why not keep the iconic dial design

Is there even a real term "white side" when referring to the moon?

As much as gray side or dark side I guess
