My apologies if this has already been discussed. I searched but nothing popped quickly...

I remember being able to see older/discontinued models on their site and now nothing. It was so easy to google a reference and it popped up there.

I have an Agua Terra GMT, but if I search for 231.13.44.52.04.001 in the search bubble you get no results. But, google “omega 231.13.44.52.04.001“ you will get results from the omegawatches.com site.

The omega website has some issues atm for sure navigation wise. What’s weirder is if you look the same reference up in different countries you can get varying detail in the response. The Chinese Japanese and Australian versions seem to have more info than the US and European sites on vintage in particular

Omega's policy on what it shows on its website is inconsistent at best. On the US site it still shows the 1957 Trilogy Speedmaster with the instruction to put your name on the waiting list. That will be a long wait. Same with the discontinued 1861 versions, still shown. There may be a few still rattling around, but not many. Omega could do a great service by having a section of 'discontinued and no longer available' watches where they could archive these past models for reference.

it’s not much worse than Rolex showing a brand new Stainless steel Pepsi GMT with “please enquire at your local authorized dealer.”

one might actually get an 1861-based Speedmaster from an AD before they get the Rolex!

^^^ Someone over on WUS posted today saying they got one in 24 days. From his AD.

Perhaps the drought is waning.

Global Depression, right ahead!
