One of the replies...

"So when NASA commissioned us to make the moonwatch there was a specific set of requirements. James Ragan, was the head of that developmental program & the requirements were super stringent."

As of right now the OP's account has been suspended. He probably said something that offended a moderator (who lives in his parent's basement and subsists on Doritos and Mountain Dew).

I hate Reddit with a passion.

Wow, you are right. I wonder what the controversial comment was...

Funny how almost all the questions are so silly and don’t actually leverage any potential expertise the OP might have. Just people asking for opinions and speculation, like in any stupid Reddit thread. I’m surprised they don’t ask him which watch looks better on their wrist.

What’s Reddit?
Sounds like something a frog would say after returning books to the library.

While at first the navigation on Reddit is a bit awkward, there's nothing wrong with Reddit per se. I've seen several folks from here over there (using the same username).

Every watch forum has its pros/cons (including this one). You just need to learn to navigate the waters on each one and know how to get the best out of them. I have my go-to forums for vintage Seiko, Omega, watch repair, straps, etc. I've bought some very rare and nice watches on Reddit for great prices.

I particularly like and use the r/watchrepair and r/watchmaking subreddits on Reddit whenever I have an issue with my watches. Very fast and helpful comments from the community.

There certainly are some thoughtful users on Reddit. But the signal to noise ratio is very poor.

I also hate the upvote/downvote system. It's churlish. I understand the theory but in practice it's very toxic.

I much prefer OF and WUS.
