    Hello everyone !

I received this beautiful watch from my grandfather, and I would like to know what model it is. No one is my family seems to know. The watch has a hand-winding movement. This isn't the original strap, it used to be a metal "flex" strap.

I am also really curious, because there is nothing on the dial or on the case back that would point to what model it is.

    Can someone help me ?

    Here is a few photos of the watch: IMG_0173.jpg IMG_0174.jpg IMG_0175.jpg IMG_0176.jpg

    It's possibly a reference 2984, but a few things don't line up.

The second hand is obviously a replacement, but the gold leaf hands and the dial with the happy feet Ω don't go together.
Maybe your Grandfather had it serviced or repaired at some stage and things were replaced.

Whatever happened, while it will not suit a fussy pedantic collector, it's a lovely watch and a great memento.

Edit: It's not a 2984, wrong style of caseback. :whipped:
