·Hi everyone,
I'm hoping you can help me identify my grandfather's Omega. I'd love to find the exact model (or the closest possible match) as a surprise gift for my father before my wedding.
Unfortunately, the original watch is no longer with our family (or at least we don't know where it is), so we're relying on my dad's memory.
Here's what he remembers:
I'd be incredibly grateful if anyone recognizes the model or can point me toward likely references or collections (Genève, De Ville, Seamaster De Ville, etc.). From what I suspect so far, it's the De Ville but I'm not sure.

- Worn around 1967 (my dad borrowed it that year), so it was likely purchased before then.
- Stainless steel case and stainless steel bracelet.
- Square-ish/rectangular case
- White/silver dial.
- Gold hands.
- Gold baton hour markers (no numerals).
- Date window (he remembers this because having a date on a watch was quite novel at the time).
