I find wall clocks interesting, there are an infinite number of fakes around. chinese and indians have done good business.i would like to list photos of only the ones omega actually produced, both vintage and modern.

If sanctioned by Omega (and who would know?), they might have been made by someone other than Omega, under license? Just my thoughts.

Most of the "dealer display" wall clocks shown around the internet are bullshit.

Anything with a "Jurgen Bolsch" (something like that) quartz movement is bogus.

Original display clocks of the type you posted were not made by Omega, but by an independent company, e.g.: RUEGG S.A. in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

There's a couple of discussions here on the forum if you want to search for them.

    Here's one.

in my initial question I misjudged, authorized by omega and other brends. that the mechanism is then produced by elag. j. etc ... but they are authorized

wall clocks for sale chrono24 there are some and they also have a nice cost, hanging on a wall they have their effect. if we consider them the same it has those produced by the Chinese and Indians now their wall clocks would not cost 150 $ but they can be sold for collectors even for 2000 $ ..

    Almost forgot about mine.

Stein Jewellers Toledo Ohio, no longer around.

As I didn't have 120VAC available, I converted the movement to a high torque silent quartz motor.

I think another member has one of these as well, in his avatar but can't remember who it is.

I too, after almost 40 ticks and tacs, I replaced the rotor coil and the microconductor, however, everything remained as it was elag swiss, in fact I inserted a reinforced rotor and now I think it also runs for my grandchildren

    An Omega Darkroom clock?

so this is not Omega... this is actually a US company that started in 1936 making darkroom enlargers which also need timers.

same name but not related. They are also called Simmons Omega. I can find no link between them and they appear to still exist.

it is always part of the history of omega, there are so many in the rooms that are not beautiful even for the hours they carry we speak of Chinese watches, these make you want to look at the walls of the house.

    Hello guys,
What do you think about this watch?

this is been a “totem” watch made for the FINA Olympics Game of Swimming in Rome, Italy 2009.

    Is it real?

A friend of mine bought in a street market in Rome. I am sure it is the real one! also, is super heavy...
I saw online there is a similiar one made for the Tokyo Olympics game.

Please let me know, I’m very curious

sorry for the photo, is the best I could do it

they are watches for retailers, advertising, not for sale, the market is full of Chinese or Indian fakes. do you have more photos? from the very distant photo
