I came across this piece on eBay, but I wasn’t sure of the authenticity of it. I work for omega and we have a similar clock on the wall, but I can’t take it off the wall to see the markings on the back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-OMEGA...Irz2enaCaE%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=ncPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
That's hilariously bad, in my opinion. One obvious tell is the Patek medallion haphazardly glued to the back of the movement.
These are "replica"* clocks and aren't official Omega products. * ("Replica" means "Fake", and also "Counterfeit") Even the "Omega" display clocks aren't made by Omega, but by another company in Switzerland that make display clocks for many brands. I think it's RUEGG S.A. in La Chaux-de-Fonds. There are thousands of "dealer display clocks" floating around on the interwebs. Most of the fake ones have nice Swiss sounding names etc on the quartz motor like this: But the closest any part of this clock ever got to Switzerland was the fake stamping and stickers.
