I think that was quite a strong/fair price in the present market, representing it being a pretty nice example. I would imagine both seller and buyer are happy.
The Omega thin arrow hammered at £4200 plus 24% buyers premium I think someone got a good deal, they are awsome rare watches that look amazing and a great size.
Erhhh....there is also the 20% VAT on the premium...easy to forget...😉

What year is yours ?
The SN is about 1000 lower than the Tennants one, but not certain what year that makes it. Maybe also 1938, or perhaps slightly earlier.
