Omega thin arrow fake dial ?

I was very tempted to buy an omega thin arrow dial on eBay but after showing it to a few good guys on a fb group they said a few things about the dial one thing was that the 7 wasn’t hooked like all other thin arrow dials and many other things that just wasn’t right.

I messaged the dealer and told him maybe it wasn’t correct and if it isn’t it shouldn’t be for sale because I nearly lost a lot of money and I wouldn’t want anyone else to either, please let me know your thoughts on the dial ?

Now I look at the numbers and all are different from the original ones I’ve seen, almost sloppy

Oh Dear ... HNCO again. Not much knowledge there....
Ok. Omega 1953. Amag. Mil. Watch. Thick Soft iron dial with luminous wells. Which is not present here. Lume is printed on. Not filled in the Wells. Check out the 8. They have many more dubious dials for sale. Kind regards. Achim

The problem is "Measures 29.6mm across, totaly original," The 2777-1 or 6B/542 dial is 32,2mm!!!!

I remember that Dial restoration. Came to me with plenty of Rust spots and discolourations. Took a few hours to clean that. Turned out well, the Lume was not touched. The Geiger still got very nervous.....

Ciao Achim
yes, that is my watch that you serviced - and still have. Here the image:

Thanks yeah crazy when you look closely how bad it actually is, nearly caught me out though I shouldn’t be so trusting of watch companies
