Hey all!

Would love to hear from the Omega Forums community on my Omega Suveran 2400-6. I purchased this several years ago when I thought I should try my hand at vintage watch collecting (now looking back this was a big mistake; hubris indeed).

What I was initially drawn to was the brand and the historical roots claimed in the sale. However, I've learned that many of the pieces of the watch are not original and not even tied to this watch. I would definitely be curious to hear thoughts on what has been cobbled together here, and what the value (if there is any) of this watch may be!

Please let me know what additional information I can provide, and cheers to this wonderful community I was just recently introduced to. Have heard only wonderful things about Omega Forums!

Hello David,

The hands and crown have been changed & the dial has been re-done. The movement looks to be in the correct range, serial number wise.

As you say it is a redial. In my point of view the watch is of no interest besides the movement (correct serial range), and the case. As you say it was a big mistake, and we all do such. I show you a correct reference 2400-6 (relumed hands).

I agree with the comments above. Value is maybe $300-$500 in the current state. With a little patience you can get a nice one!

Hi Kyle.
If I remember correctly, you paid @$2000 for a black dial Suveran.
Is it this one?
Regards .

If you are still interested in buying this particular reference in the future, it is probably best just to hold onto that watch. You can't sell it for much, and it could come in useful as a donor.
