Hi All, Selling this mint unpolished Suveran 2400-7 cal 30T2 PC. It will come on an NOS Gay Freres bamboo bracelet. The dial is amazing and hard to capture. The black galvanic finish is flawless and the writing is mirror finish silver which gleams on certain angles like the hands. There is no degradation on the hands, and the radium glows briefly as it should. Please excuse the dust, the photos should be able to expand. Serviced last year For those not familiar, the Suveran is a 35mm watch made for the Swedish Govt to boost economy during WWII. It has a military waterproof case with notched screwback and lead gasket. The movement is 30T2 with shock protection and special plating. This one dates to 1945. $2800.
Lovely example. I did want to call out though that the Suveran (at least to my knowledge) wasn't ever issued to the Swedish army. It was made on demand by the Swedish govt and sold to the Swedish public during WW2 in a bid to boost the struggling Swedish economy. So, it has wartime connotations but wasn't actually issued to the military.
