View attachment 1003372 Hi I am a newbie happy to join this forum. I am currently in the process of bring my first vintage omega. I came across this watch, and I read up on the history which is very interesting of course coupled by the fantastic movement. This watch is going at 900 euros, any kind souls here can help to advice if you think this is a good buy, or this could be fake. I did do some homework but it would be good to get some views from the experts here as well. Thanks for sharing in advance

Hi and welcome.
I’m no expert, but it looks original to me. Is there any documentation to accompany the watch regarding when it was last serviced. I’ve been following these Suveran watches from afar and they have gained a lot of popularity in Sweden, especially over the last 12-18 months. Based on current prices, if the watch has been recently serviced then 900Euros is not way off the current price levels.

Thanks so much for sharing your views. No there is no recent documentation and recent servicing but the seller confirmed it’s working very well. I guess I now have to think if I wanted to give it a try as it’s a little challenging to get a decent dial for now. Or consider asking for some discounts to fund a servicing. Thanks for your help once again

It looks good to me as well. Personally, I hold the early batches 2400-1 a bit higher due to the rhodium pkating of the movement. This has anice dial execution. 900 is absolutely ok imo. 600 a find and 1500 expensive.
But have to add: A few years back they would be 3-500.

I typically spend approx 2500 nok on a service plus any parts, so you have an idea regarding what that will cost. Best of luck.
