Hi folks, I picked this little beauty up recently and it is now for sale on chrono24. Just wondering if someone would be able to elaborate on the small writing on the case back or on the caseback itself. In my opinion it may well have been made for the French Market as it looks like Liberty on the caseback. Any thoughts.

First photo. Just at the nape of the back of her neck. Some letters ( maybe a makers name plus what looks like depose ). Thanks.

Any opinions??????
It's a square watch, beyond that I'm not even sure it's an Omega from those photos. One thing that you'll learn quickly in this community is that we value good quality photos. It's virtually impossible to tell much about the condition of a watch from photos like the ones you posted.

1) Make sure your lens is clean, we need sharp, clear photos.
2) Try to get your photos in natural, indirect light.
3) Try to get as close to the watch as possible and keep it in focus.
4) Try to get photos of the details, case markings, dial markings, movement markings, any damage, etc.

I look forward to seeing some good photos of this interesting watch.

Aha! I can make out DEPOSE, the other writing will likely be the signature of whomever created the decor.
