Hi All,

Up for sale a fantastic and rare Omega Speedsonic Lobster

This specific watch was previously discussed here:

https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedsonic-lobster.65282/

The Omega Speedmaster ‘Speedsonic’ was introduced in the early 1970’s as Omegas flagship chronograph, with a Chronometer certified movement. The Speedsonic specific movement, or as we know it the F300, a mechanical movement which ran on a battery and was controlled by tuning forks which vibrated at a frequency of 300Hz

The movement was made under licence by Bulova, the chronograph module then adapted with basically and extra ‘layer’ for the chronograph operation.
The chronograph module was developed by Dubois Dépraz at the behest of ESA and was caused quite a stir when launched 1972 as the world’s first electronic Chronograph.

Condition:

Case: Completely original and in very good preserved condition (pushers original, and signed original crown). Near the chrono pusher there is a Portuguese Import stamp mark, so it is not a defect or a ding, but a proper mark that ads some specific character to the watch

Case-back: Completely original with very clear hippocampus

Dial and hands: Original mirror dial in used condition with original hands.

Dial as developed some “cracks”, please see the picture without crystal, but it does not affect the legibility of the dial, and also ads some “unique” character to the watch.

Crystal/ Tachy: In very good condition, with light marks

Movement: Running exactly as it should and all functions working perfectly, as it has just been serviced

Bracelet: Completely original Omega Lobster bracelet with signed clasp.

I am asking 1500€ for a just serviced and rare specific Omega model, dial is not perfect, but these dials from time to time pop up in online auction sites, so it is not so hard to replace it, but I need to move forward with my collection, so I am selling it as it is.
