The pictures are not very clear, but it looks like the plating is wearing off the bracelet. I think you could get a nicer Speedsonic for the price. For example, this sold recently for much less:

I got one offered locally a few months back, stainless steel in almost mint condition, for €1.6k. Didn't go through because I wanted it cheaper (so I could earn a bit on resale), but I've also had tuning fork movements fail in the past. I'd rather buy the watch dirt cheap to mitigate the risk.
Anyway, the model in question looks tired from the low quality photos. I'd rather spend a bit more on a stainless version in better condition.
