This item probably needs little introduction to OF members and Speedmaster fans.
It's the rare ltd. ed. box set dedicated by Omega in commemoration of the Speedmaster's exploits in space.
English language edition. Produced circa 1969/70.
This box set comprises of various large size photos from space missions; astronauts, earth, moon etc. up until 1969 including Apollo VI,VII,VIII,IX,X, Gemini IV, Gemini XII as well as a photo of the three astronauts from Apollo XI (Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin "buzz" Aldrin) as well as four pages of historical information on the missions with printed signatures by the Apollo XI crew. Box measures approx 50cm/40cm.
Complete set with all 20 photos, 4 page intro and outer 'crater' box.
Condition. The outer crater box is in near perfect condition.
The photos are all in super condition. If the borders were 'white white' when printed, they have now mellowed to an off-white/cream colour. All are in the same condition. Please note that all the photos have tiny pinholes in the top left and right corners (none in bottom). Pls see pics. They are pretty much invisible when viewed and would 'frame out' if mounted. They are tiny.
There are spots of foxing to the 4pp intro sheets, as shown in pics below.
Ask is £550 OBO (plus shipping) via PPF&F or bank transfer. Item ships from London. Happy to meet in person/zoom.
