Realistically they're not going to be getting more than a handful of emails each day on the issue - the vast majority of the emails will be identical.

Arthur probably answers them over his morning coffee.

Seems like more and more brands are getting into such internet-exclusive releases.
Earlier today from Panerai: 100pcs only http://www.ablogtowatch.com/panerai...cciaio-pam731-e-commerce-micro-edition-watch/
Quoted from the article:
"Examples such as the Omega Speedmaster "Speedy Tuesday" limited-edition watch made for Fratellowatches.com and their #speedytuesday Instagram hashtag having sold out in four hours must at least get the brands' attention. The convenience, competitiveness, and comfort of the online buying experience for customers makes the transition to a proper online presence necessary for any watch brand that wants to survive."

So if I'm n the waiting queue (and got there a full day late), I'm guessing I should not hold my breath waiting, huh?

I put my name on the list never expecting to get one. Truthfully, I wasn't even sure I wanted it. I figured I'd get myself on Omega's radar for when something I really wanted came down the pipe. But the more I see the ST now the more I do actually want it.

I imagine only a handful will come off the waitlist.....but i feel like there's gonna be a decent amount of ST's for sale due to all the flippers out there.

I've actually been asking myself at what price point would I sale the watch. (It's high, lol) I do think I have figured what I would trade for it. Nothing too crazy. Lol

They don't have it yet.
To be fair, I'm probably not wealthy enough to turn down £8940 for it though once mine arrives - if that's actually a realistic valuation.
This speculation is doing wonders for the Omega brand, it wasn't that long ago that their limited editions depreciated at the same rate (if not quicker) than everything else in the range. The Silver Snoopy showed what was achievable I guess

Though to be fair I don't have the avenue to sell something in that manner. I think my limit on eBay is about £1k!

Selling it won't be an issue. You could easily sell it on the forum. The tough choice is whether or not you should let it go.

In a few years, it might be a grail watch that's super hard to come by. That would be a real punch in the balls.

I don't believe I have that privilege to be honest. And also, no matter what the market dictates, I don't think I could truly live with myself if I sold something for over twice retail!

I'm not selling for any amount but if I needed to and someone wanted to pay me £10k I wouldn't hesitate. It is sold with full information and knowledge of the original price so not sure I really understand the moral dilemma here?
