路The only people I maybe feel bad for are the Californians that were completely asleep. Most other true collectors that would appreciate the #speedytuesday aspect had at least 2 hours during their morning commutes to grab one. It was trending like crazy. I also know 2 good friends that managed to score one 24 hours later just by refreshing a few times.... so it was definitely possible to get one after the fact. This was also confirmed by many other people on the forums.
Can't have everything and you win some and you lose some. As much as I like the watch... the value aspect certainly matters with collecting and it makes everything more fun and interesting (in my opinion). Even my favorite watches get old after a while. If I only bought watches I loved, I'd probably be broke right now!
I definitely think there will be a big premium initially and I agree that there will then be a steady long term increase over the next few years as well. Besides, anyone that missed out can just buy a 5513, hold it for a year, and then use those profits to offset the ST premium... 5513s are still doubling every year, right? 馃榾
