Only pic I've seen that gave me a slightest concern was this one from the great man himself. I guess it's obvious it won't have the legibility of day the classic Speedy Pro, but hopefully be fine in the metal.

How many of you out there will actually wear it?!
In my mind, the main reason why someone would never wear it, is if they were a collector and trying to keep its 'value'. But do collectors eventually sell them wayyy down the line? Or do they keep them just to admire them? I don't really collect watches so I don't know.
It seems like a collector is just waiting for the right time to eventually sell. Like I said, I'm not a collector but I'm tempted to keep this a safe queen thinking it'll be worth something even more in the future. But then I realize if I end up really liking this watch in person, I wouldnt ever sell it! So might as well wear it?
Thoughts?

路Well I'll be wearing mine and be relaxed doing so. If it holds its value well it will be nice to know should the time comes I ever need to cash it in.

Watch collection for investment can be risky, you are bettter off enjoying it on your wrist. Modern pieces particularly are much harder to predict, there will always be sellers that use it to make a buck or two. Personally, I am a Panda Dial so this will be in the collection for many years to come unless funding becoming an issue.

路For vintage watches, unworn watches or NOS watches, sell for more but not massive amounts more. At the end of the day, if you pay too much more then you can't ever wear it because it will lose the added value as soon as you put it on the wrist.
I hope people wear them and enjoy their speedytuesday, it would be a shame to have all those watches sitting in safes for years on end.
I plan to wear mine, knowing me it will probably have a ding in it after about a week.

路I think watch should be worn. In high school there were kids who waited in line to but a pair of sneakers and never wear em, then decide to sell later on.
