You don't mean to say that some people actually wear these watches do you?

It's a nasty rumour that's been doing the rounds. 馃槈

someone mentioned above a 30 day period to collect your watch -- that's not a very short window.
It is if you are out of the country for the majority of June and unable to collect it...

Hopefully I can just email my AD and let them know when I will be back to collect it.

Hopefully on those cases the buyer can pay over the phone and then it is a matter of picking it up at a later time.

If they're been cracked out of their plastic coffins, that's really going to effect the eBay resale value. 馃槈

Pretty sure the resale won't be affected at all.

I'm not after the coffin but as far as I'm aware, these don't come with a box so I'd just rather as few people as possible manhandle something they haven't even sold me and they have no reason to - given that as above, I've seen some pretty careless behaviour at several ADs.

I'm teasing - although that will be a genuine concern for some... the memory of fast Snoopy profits drives a lot of people 馃槈

Realistically, they may open it to check it winds and runs - they really shouldn't be giving it to people to try on or mess around with as it's reserved for you.

This is not a regular of-the-shelf product. Therefore the "usual" walk-in customer will not know about it. So it is unlikely that it will be given around just "to try" etc... 馃槈

They have been getting a lot of enquiries from what I understand.

One of the boutique staff in London last week, said that the the wait list is at over double the number or watches that are being produced.

So there is a ton of interest... and whilst not the "usual walk in customer", it's not unreasonable to think that people will want to see these.

Once something's on the internet, it's not a secret any more 馃槈

I shouldn't worry too much, there seem to be plenty of 0000 models about for those who are curious to handle one.

Besides anything else, the OBs have absolutely nothing to gain by showing them to people, it's not as if they can sell them or gain more orders.

Yeah sure, but its not the first time that OBs are dealing with that issue. They are professionals! I never ever saw or heard, that staff has dropped watches etc. At least not in Switzerland! I am very relaxed about this topic... 馃榾

No worries here, and exceedingly relaxed also - I was poking the bear a little bit... there are some very particular people on this thread. 馃槈

I got this answer today ( based in the UK )

Deliveries will be made during the summer (July or August).

The watches are being produced in small batches and random order so it is difficult for us to know when exactly the watch will be available.

Our boutique team will contact you as soon as they have a date for you!
