··Ash @ ΩFAs far as I can tell most of the boutiques didn't know about it happening in advance (though I'm some some no doubt did, the fact that it didn't leak means the details weren't widespread). Given that I'd assume they just went to the form like everyone else when they email came in. Having said that, during the Rolex stainless Daytona scarcity phase dealers were told to not be caught wearing them in store and not to shuffle them off to family and friends so there's precedent for that.
I really don't think Omega expected it to sell out anywhere near that quickly, as RJ was literally biting his fingernails off with nerves the watch would flop and end up being flogged at Costco if everyone hated it. Given that I just don't think they would have even considered those sorts of rules on a watch that was a big question mark both in acceptance and delivery model.

What straps are people thinking of wearing theirs with? Anyone know if we'll be able to buy additional copies of the leather or NATO straps?
Personally think I'll only ever wear it on a leather strap, either the one provided or a third-party strap.

·I will probably use this B&S strap. It looks similar to the leather strap provided by Omega but I love the leather and the look of B&S straps.
