I've heard Omega makes around 700,000 watches per year. They should allocate resources better if that's true. Perhaps halt the production of watches that have not already been pre-sold...

 

The whine on this forum was entertaining now annoying. I shall try to curtail my Speedy Tuesday arrival forum reading.

 

Most of the tounge in cheek is funny, which I am guilty. No fazed by the wait, In being in the game for a while I have had longer waits for watches I already own to return from trusted and in demand watchmakers.
Still feel lucky to have one coming after hearing 7500 on the waiting list the other day.

 

Just collected my ST yesterday from Sloane street, walked with it on the brown strap it came with to Bond Street boutique where I fitted the bracelet, then walked to regents street boutique and fitted the snoopy strap and clasp love it on all 3 but my favourite I must say is the snoopy. Haven't heard back since I put myself on the wait list months ago... Surprised to see this arrive on my doorstep. I'm bit confused. Didn't really follow this thread much. Lol. Good read, though!

 

Got the email today. It's either on its way or here. I was told Sept 18th for tysons in VA. Just in time since I'm moving to San Diego in October! #7xx

Just got my email 14 hours ago that it is either leaving OMEGA or has already left the place. I think it should come in by next week.

First post here. I sent an email to Arthur last week asking if there are any updates and he replied yesterday saying that mine is still in production.

 

It's worth the wait, you can see my comments about getting tired of waiting in this thread but once you get it and find the right strap for it it's totally worth it

 

You're the member that picked up from Roseville and is from the Bay Area, correct? I'm also picking up from Roseville and was hoping that mine was in the same shipment as yours.

 

I did, and I figured the CA shipment had all of them, but I guess not. Have you been contacted by the Boutique? They called me even before Omega sent the official "on the way" email.

If you haven't been to that mall before, I suggest you park in the garage structure next to Sears. The Boutique is right near that entrance, I got lucky and estimate I saved myself a good 20 minutes or so.

Deliveries in New Delhi, India have started. 2 pickups by friends on the weekend or the following week. Still waiting on my mail though !

Good news for waitlisters, my other 3 friends who booked are all thinking of sending an email that they dont want it !

I am very curious whether declined watches are re-allocated to waiting list folks by geographic location (proximity to delivering OB) or by position on waiting list.
