I did the exact same thing earlier this week. Terrified that I missed the call/email and my watch went to someone on the wait list. Arthur confirmed mine is still in production.

Ah yes, I had overlooked that point. Upon checking I now realise that I received an emailed assurance from Arthur last July that 'deliveries will be made throughout September' so I guess I too will be rather miffed if I have a bare wrist come October the 1st. The wording of that phrase is rather ambiguous though and could be read to infer that no further deliveries would occur until after Sept 1st (depending on which side of the Atlantic you reside), though I too think he meant that they would arrive by the end of September as Ally suggested.

Not sure how much the traditional August slow down affected them, but deliveries continued throughout August, as reported by members here.

And yes, in early July Arthur also told me that, "Deliveries will be made throughout September. "

No offense, but it bugs me that people on the waiting list are getting watches before people that have them reserved

I hear you, but if a watch is sent to an OB, and the buyer backs out, it would not make sense for Omega to have it flown back to the factory and sit on it until all the rest are completed/ sent out. Each one represents ~$6k USD.

I guess it's too late to be added to the waiting list?

Maybe they should have not let us pick numbers. First to reserve, first served, regardless of drop outs.
Its just a number on a watch, similar to a serial number.
It's funny how some people try to use the sales tactic - low number "under 300" ... as if it matters!

Damn, the longer I have to wait the more I love this watch. Pleasure delay is good for something I guess :)

Not to mention us "late receivers" will have a warranty that last ever so slightly longer than everyone else. However, I'm seriously ready to get this thing strapped to my wrist already...

At this rate I doubt most of us will receive it by the end of the month.

I find the ST thread TZ pretty entertaining, you don't need to go read it all, but if you listen to this it completely summarises the thread.

Funny how opinions on something can change so drastically over the course of a few months. Went from everyone loving it to the majority not seeming to liking it anymore.

I think the problem is getting our hands on it to love it!

I wish this reflected in the resale price. MSRP anyone?

Still no further update on when my watch is arriving. I'm not feeling confident about the promised September deliveries.
