Oh well, it will get here when it gets here. Hopefully Natasha, Alexandra or someone from the OB will send me the email soon.

Still wait for mine ST in Taipei. BTW there is my Daytona and sample ST, which one do u like?
To be honest I like the ST more. Despite concerns over legibility issues, looks like the ST is still easier to read.

I have both 116520 (black/white)....the speedy tuesday is by far more legible. Which you like more is a matter of preference though.

Seems like none of the Taipei ST's have arrived yet. I'm still waiting as well. I have so many straps ready to go if it would just arrive already!

I think the watch really needs to be seen in person. Pictures don't do the watch justice especially on the way the silver color contrasts with the dial for the subdials. It really makes the radial characteristics pop and the brushed case is a real treat:

What is the type of strap your speedy's mounted on? Like the middle portion is thicker?

Anyone here has a reservation in UAE? Either A.D. or DXB? Havent heard anything from the OB in Dubai and was wondering if anyone else has taken delivery.

Picked mine up last night from the Chicago Boutique, number is in the low 300s, immediately switched the strap to a Crown & Buckle Black Label strap that I ordered just for the ST - although the leather OEM strap it came with is REALLY nice.

Forgive the dog hairs visible in the second photo. First impression is that the watch, which I've thought was beautiful since the initial release, is still somehow better in person. In my opinion, this is the most attractive Speedmaster dial they've made, and I'm starting to think the all-brushed case might be better than the standard as well.

Agree whole heartedly, I've come to really love the fully brushed case on this watch, something you cannot appreciate from pics.

Nice strap choice by the way, looks great.

I want the ceramic white face Daytona, but not enough to spend 17K to 18K right now on the resell market.

Same here. I'd take one at MSRP but not $17k

And throw in one of these:

Got an email earlier today saying mine is in at the OB. Anyone else picking up at Tysons in VA heard about theirs yet?

I may go get it on Friday afternoon, and if not it will be on Saturday. But if anyone else is going I will try and schedule at the same time if there is interest.

Calling Natasha now!

Mine arrived yesterday ::psy::::psy::::psy::. Chicago, IL OB. LE # in the upper 300s. Supposedly the 6th of 22 ST's they expect to pass through that store. Decent amount.

First impressions:
The sub-dials stand out from a mile away. Quite striking. Their matte silvery reflectivity makes their saucer shape jump out too. Very nice effect. I put mine on a 1450/808 bracelet. Those end links fit well.

The dial is blacker than my 3576 Moonphase.

The lume is indeed awesome. First fully nighttime functional mechanical Speedy (except for the tachy). The blueness in my pic is totally a bad camera white balance issue. It's really green like the others.

I'm cool with all of its "brushedness". Maybe because I own X-33s... Yes, legibility is reduced compared to a standard Moonwatch, but I was prepared for that.

Interesting story, mine was a couple days late coming in because apparently some of them were forwarded to US Boutiques without proper regard to LE #'s. The Boutiques then had to re-overnite-ship them to each other to sort out the mess. Mine went through San Antonio this way...so I was told at my OB.

I plan to keep mine, YaY!!! Best of luck and patience to everyone still waiting.

Congratulations Lou P, and good observation regarding the highlight of the saucer shape of the sundials, notice that often myself but have never thought to mention it.

Anyone else heading to the Tysons OB this weekend to collect an #ST? I am now leaning towards Sunday so I do not need to bring our 4-year-old.
