A few macros of the notorious ST:

And some more following this link :

Cheers !
Really nice pictures! It seems like your speedy is impeccable condition. After seeing the speedy in this website https://watchesbysjx.com/2017/07/test-drive-omega-speedmaster-speedy-tuesday.html, with dirty hands and irregularities in the chronological dials, I hope mine will be free of these minor errors. By the way, what camera and lense did you use for these macros?

I bought 2 of these, a black one and a grey one. Wearing my Rolex Sub on the grey one right now. Didn't expect much given the price but have been impressed with the quality. Also bought a classic brown leather strap from them as I would like to keep the ST straps pristine.

Got the same straps as well. Very comfortable although the nylon does fray quite easily.

Picked mine up and I'm #31/2012 if that helps.... it's not for me. Much prefer my regular speedy pro

Indeed, they can be a ruthless bunch over there once the pot starts boiling.

Indeed! Better to ignore it but to be honest it ruined my sales thread!

But to balance it out I've had more messages of support than dissenters

Does always seem completely pointless to crap on sales threads but seems to happen plenty.

Just been having a going through my photobucket account and saving any pics I would like to keep, found this one of my old Apollo-Soyuz on Rally, and by pure coincidence have a pic of the ST at almost the exact same time on my phone. Interesting as I felt the Soyuz had slightly better legibility than the ST when it came to the hands over the subdials, but looking now perhaps not so much difference. Loved that watch but I think meteorite aside the ST holds up pretty well(naturally I would swap it to have my Speedyorite backin a heartbeat but that's another story). And yes I like my Rally straps😉

number has nothing to do with it. Seems more location based. I am very very low

I agree with the location based theory. Not many at all in the States (MYSELF included). Can't help but wonder if the price difference and Omega thinking that people would pass on it because of that. So, they're fulfilling other countries first.

Just a thought

I'm 10x/2012, radio silence here. I saw posts where people in the 80s and people in the 110s have received theirs already too

Wow, that's pretty terrible for a $6500 watch. I mean, I see this stuff on affordables and am not surprised, but on something so high profile (and only a couple thousand pieces)? After all, attention to detail and quality of workmanship is how they justify the price... I would have thought there would be someone doing 100% inspection with a comprehensive checklist on these. It does suck for that guy because now he has to send it back.
