Thank you, that actually look surprisingly good.

Glad you like it, I'm actually going to be using it which was never my intention. Maybe we all got carried away with the strap dislike. Not sure im ready to try the NATO yet mind you, that will be for another day.

The strap wears very well on a small wrist too as the tail rucks in nicely, with the last hole fitting my 6.5" wrist perfectly (I often find myself having to punch extra holes in straps). I'm pleasantly surprised it must be said.

You could have ordered a smaller strap... 😉

^ can't argue with that, that strap however, is that 18mm?

Do you mean you could choose a shorter strap to be supplied with the ST? Either way this one is fine thankfully.

Got the call today and dropped everything to go get it and all I can say is WOW. Was worth the wait as the watch is even better in person. Well worth the wait and Omega hit it out of the ball bark on this one as such a beautiful piece.
I'm just curious did you pick that up
In the UK? I am still waiting to hear anything? It looks like September my local OB has an event next week and I was hoping it was going to arrival at the same time.....

How long did it take, from email to delivery? it seems like shipments to the US is taking about 3-4 weeks.

How many watches received to date have the casebacks properly aligned?

I htink I would rather have the gasket properly compressed then the caseback aligned. Besides, who gets to define "properly aligned"? 😁

That's just pure luck, same as with all screw backs. Mine isn't far out though.

I don't care...I just want the watch to show up!
I care because it shows the amount of attention they pay to their manufacturing techniques in addition to the design.

No doubt their design is very nice. However, such details would reflect how much attention Omega pays to their execution and it shows how much they care and pride they have in their product.

Steve Jobs was famous for the amount of attention he paid to the screws inside the case of his computer that most of his customers will never ever see. And that is one of the reasons why Apple did so well, and that is the reason why he was a game changer.

This will be my first Omega but not my first watch that would constitute as a luxury watch. To me such detail is very important. I drive both a Honda Jazz and a Benz E class. There is a difference in amount of detail they paid to "the unnecessary" and that is the reason why there is a huge price difference as well.
