My Speedy Tuesday has yet to arrive but I'm looking forward to it. I plan to put mine on a bracelet. Can anyone confirm whether a modern Speedy bracelet will fit the Speedy Tuesday or is the 1171 with 633 end links the only option?

I'd much prefer a modern bracelet. Thanks for any feedback.

Think 1171 is approximately $400 new; you can buy a modern bolt links style bracelet on the forums for about that price as well.

Only drawback of modern bracelet is that it has some polished parts and the ST is fully brushed, but that can be fixed by having the lug end links polished parts brushed and then having the other link sections (from the lug end links to the clasp assembly) reversed as the bottom part of the bracelet is fully brushed.

Couple pages ago I posted photos of the watch on the modern speedy bracelet if you are curious.

I see. Maybe I will have to see if the AD or OB has any of the bracelets in stock and allows me to see what they look like on the watch before I decide.

One thing I will say about the 1171 having owned a Speedy with regular modern bracelet. With this hot weather I rather like the movement on the wrist with the far more flexable links and the narrower taper at the back, very comfortable. Yes it's a bit rattly sounding but doesn't bother me personally, gives it kind of a vintage charm.

I am wondering if I can use the 20mm Planet Ocean bracelet to fit onto my ST.

You can use the 1620/887 which is a speedy bracelet with PO style
