They've started to achieve ~8-9k US on eBay lately. On phone so can't link but will update later

 

Looking at the prices the ST seems to selling for £6.5k in the UK on secondary markets. Some have listed higher and they are not selling. I don't think I could buy a Gemini much cheaper than that. $5k is crazy, that's about £4.5k UKP - you cannot buy one that cheap - I think you under sold.

Thanks, so not far apart. Another way of looking at is the ST for me is £4.1k, the trade includes £500 to me as well as the Gemini, so in reality I am paying £3.6k for a Gemini full set.

 

If you prefer the Gemini I'd say go for it, nothing to loose and you end with the watch you love. Nice when both parties are winners which sounds the case here.

Just waiting for my snoopy strap which as now arrived at ad. Will collect this week and take a few shots. I prefer the st over the ck2998 though.

 

I still have my CK2998 in it's box. saving it for my daughter. she's only 4 now, so it will be a long while before it gets worn.

 

I'm right there with you, I sold my Apollo XI 35th not long ago for about what I bought it for, and now they're 8-9k too!

 

BTW: There is a good alternative strap from Omega, if you want the texture of the snoopy strap, but want to use the clasp from ST. I actually find it even better because the stitching is not white but light gray...

Good question. I don't know anymore, It was suggested by my OB and is out of Kevlar. At the moment I am in vacation (climbing) - not with the ST I will have a look at home later this week... Listprice is 160CHF, so far I remember...

Thanks. I must admit that I prefer the panda to the reverse panda, just a personal opinion of course. If the ST had been a panda it would be a much more difficult decision.

Still no sign of the ST, just the usual e-mail from Omega saying deliveries will go on until September - which is Omega speak for Christmas time.

 

Not at all. She's seen it and tried it on. and she loves it, even got a picture of her wearing it.
Besides, it's either this or the GSOTM. Who knows what will happen along the way, may find something else for her.
