One wonders how long this process will take. Will we be still receiving watches in November?

I have requested collection of mine (in the 1700s) from a Dealer site and they have advised me: let me assure you that your watch will not be handled by anyone other than yourself upon receipt, this is something we follow as standard for anyone expecting a limited edition timepiece.

Don't even joke about that. I can't wait that long. I'm checking my emails every hour as it is.

We're all aware that this is only a watch right?

I mean, I like it too, and I have an allocation... but guys... chill.

Unfortunately I am not trying to make a joke (OK maybe a little). But so far the process seems very slow. Has anyone in the US even gotten a watch yet?

Dont you worry this was never meant as an absolute -> purely in context : we wouldnt want people to forget to drink water, water their dogs, take their plants for a walk, forget to breath or walk out the house naked due to 'SpeedyTuesdayMadness' ;)

I am very happy to receive mine any month during 2017:) Looks like mine will be only around September...my local OB said end of summer. I imagine some flippers might want to receive them ASAP to get the current resell pricing...worried that the ST might follow the CK2998 trajectory. Fingers crossed they receive their watches last:p:D

Sorry, my previous post was meant to be tongue in cheek. I'm just joining in the excitement this stunning watch is creating.

Instagram -> Omega -> #GotMySpeedytuesday ... apparantly 'lustrousaurus' (another type of funky lizard?) was the first person in US to get a ST.

If Omega had not said June/July as the original release date then people would not have any expectations as to when they could expect delivery. As it stands, if they carry on at this rate, (obviously we don't know exactly how many have been delivered) but it seems like a few dozen every few weeks, it looks like November or December are not unlikely. Yes, I know there are lots of reasons why it can be difficult to be precise, but Omega have been making watches for over 150 years so they should have a realistic idea of how long it will take, even if they had said November I am sure it would have have still sold out and been just as popular.

I dont recall them saying ALL watches will be out by June/July. As far as what they have said, they have actually delivered June. July has only begun...so technically they could have waited another month, and only started in 3 weeks time, and still been true to their word.

I think it also depends on how frequently watches get delivered to the region where your OB/AD pickup point is located as well local custom procedures in that region.

If it's any consolation I'm a two digit and have heard nothing yet, might not make any difference overall.
