Going through the entire thread and I get one clear picture of the amount of flipping that is coming our way. There are so many posts hinting at what the future owners of the ST would rather have instead.... I am amazed at what some people are offering/ asking for it.

Looking forward to the rest of the summer!

No problem as far as I'm concerned. They'll end up in the hands of people who appreciate them at the price they're prepared to pay for it.

For sure. No problem on my end either. I knew from the beginning this would be the case. I understand the offense some true heartfelt Speey lovers felt at others profiteering from a "passion piece" but such is business.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I'm a TZ'er.

Been viewing this thread for a while and I fanced the idea of jumping in.

Hi All,

Got the call this morning!! But, unfortunately, due to personal circumstances I will not be purchasing my watch anymore (number 87 - posted a week ago about pick up being soon in Bond Street). I am extremely disappointed that it has turned out this way, especially now with all the live photos! 🙁

I hope that whoever ends up with it will love it like I would have...

I look forward to seeing my photos!

Maybe the next one for me... 😁
Thank you, I'm on the waiting list, and greatly appreciate you turn it down. I hope the OB returns it to Omega so it can go on the person on the waiting list. i'm refreshing my inbox now, expecting Omega to tell me that a watch is available.

Isn't the procedure that they email all 10K to notify them that one is available, pull the name of a boutique somewhere in the world out of a hat and declare that the first person through the door gets the watch. If not then it should be, for sheer comedy value.

Because those are the rules that have been set out by HQ... and is your job work breaking the rules for?

What rules? Nobody said all 10k on the waiting list will get emails when 1 will become available.
They will keep the process as easy and straight forward as possible.

You would think so, but you would be wrong.

The watches go back to HQ, and the next on the list gets offered the watch.

I have been told this by multiple people at Omega.

It sounds beyond nuts, but it's what they say they are doing.

The Boutique is not allowed to just call a potential customer, and offer the watch up.

Omega says I'll get a call within the next two weeks to schedule a pick up. I don't have to get it within a day or two of calling right? I can schedule it for like a week later? I'm going away on vacation and don't want to miss this now.... :-/

Yes call them. As they don't know who the watch is for.
My watch turned up at AD and unless I called them they would not have known who it was for. It didn't come with a nsme or anything.
We discussed this and as he said nobody else would know it was there and what number they were picking up. You don't need any proof of who you are just need to know the number and were it is.

So don't advertise were you are picking up or the number as any one could call in with cash and collect.
