Have you guys got physical watches to trade then? I haven't seen anyone else's pictures yet.

exactly. that's why I'm emphasizing the apparent. Doesn't mean that no VIP was able to jump the line... because if there was a line-jumper you'd indeed never know about it 😉
That reminds me of that old joke about being stranded on a tropical island with Sharon Stone (in her Basic Instinct form) and not being able to tell anyone about it😉

First pic I've seen where I actually like the brown leather strap with the watch. Doubt I'll ever use it mind you, mine will go straight onto the 1171 bracelet and think about strap options later.

I feel like RJ got his a while ago. But has had the infinite patience to not post anything until the first fan received his/her ST.

Those "scratches" look like dents from endlinks rather than careless strap changes...

Interesting...his ad suggests he still doesn't have it. I wonder how he's allowed to sell something he doesn't physically own yet.

If he can provide proof of AD receipt, then he's allowed.

I've flipped baseball card preorders months before release with just the purchase receipt/reservation number. In the end though, it's up to eBay whether or not it gets taken down...

As a side note as well, he didn't do a good job with his title listing. He should have included "Speedmaster" in the title as well.

Well I suspect some OB/ADs would rather use it as an opportunity to up-sell VIPs on purchasing two watches. I'm curious if anyone knows what the OBs get out of the sale from a ST. I mean, does the sales person still get commission or does the store get paid somehow? Really what incentive would the OB/AD have for returning it to Omega and possibly losing the sale(s)?

As I understand it, staff don't have targets, stores do.

The big incentive for them to follow the rules, is that you really don't want to upset Raynald...

Are those scratches under the lugs already??????
I too noticed the same. I'd under normal circumstances take such scratches back to OB for replacing the watch when bought new!! Here perhaps I'd take it with pleasure, may be.
