·With such a low seller rating, I won't take him seriously unless he's active in OF.
I feel like RJ got his a while ago. But has had the infinite patience to not post anything until the first fan received his/her ST.
Those "scratches" look like dents from endlinks rather than careless strap changes...
Robert pictures in Facebook; really cool the leather roll has sleeves for the cards:
Did I read somewhere that the caseback should always be alligned and square when screwed down as RJ's is off centre
Difficult! It's basically a screw. As a 1. prio you want it tight - not aliged... 😉
I did the same! Ordered one yesterday.
Not according to RJ's first post in this thread 😉
"Although it is a screw-in caseback, it is always in the same fixed position in such way that the text is aligned (top starts at 12 o’clock) correctly"
Perhaps he simply went to have his own caseback with number swapped over onto the prototype he has been wearing(wouldn't be surprised if that was the agreement), hence the lug scratches and the fact the caseback is misaligned. Once you unscrew & remove the back is near impossible to get it to screw back into the exact same position.
Question here is, which is worse? The listing or the seller? He knows now, that it is not an automatic, however. See, what he has added to the listing:
"I appear to have listed this as an automatic in error. It is of course a Quartz."
I wonder how waiting list allocation will work. If someone fails to pay for the ST at the OB/AD within the time window, does the watch go back to Omega? How does someone from the waiting list get allocated the watch?
Well I suspect some OB/ADs would rather use it as an opportunity to up-sell VIPs on purchasing two watches. I'm curious if anyone knows what the OBs get out of the sale from a ST. I mean, does the sales person still get commission or does the store get paid somehow? Really what incentive would the OB/AD have for returning it to Omega and possibly losing the sale(s)?
