I have clicked the Refresh button exactly 0 times, but I enjoy watching the madness.
The more cynical types might suggest that Omega has used some "marketing" cleverness in the online reservation tool, indicating "SOLD OUT" prematurely, creating additional demand, and then strategically releasing small batches until really sold out.

I have a FOIS, I think the nato strap on this will make it look special and not too similar as the speedy that I have ordered. Am I mad buying two similar watches? Is it really limited to 2012 only?

I was just sitting in OB when the email came through. Just trying on the black face steel bracelet moonphase which I did buy at a good price.
Any way I did also reserve the new speedy Tuesday it looks a real beaut on the NATO.
Just when I thought I was done buying watches.

My sentiments exactly. Hopefully this thing will not take off like the Silver Snoopy.

If there are it'd likely be a 60th anniversary but that doesn't necessarily mean Speedmaster, all three of the Master series sports watches came out in '57 and with the SM300 back in the lineup it could be a possibility as could a Railmaster which has been absent for a long time. A CK2914 anti-mag re-edition perhaps? We won't know until Baselworld though what's coming.

Famous last words.

I think this model scratches too many itches for too many of the right people.

lol I wish mate but I'm getting flooded with private messages asking me if they've missed out or if there's some way they can get one, all I can do is tell people what RJ told me, which is that the high number of visitors browsing looking at numbers is causing them to be locked for 15 minutes at a time and if you do want one, to keep trying and try to be patient as there are still more that haven't been spoken for.

I also really do want people to get one the first time around and not end up having to buy off eBay or scalpers later on down the track, these belong on people's wrists not on an auction block.
Agreed

Been trying for the last 3 hours. Giving up and going for a pint or three to drown my sorrows.

I was surprised that there was no requirement for some form of deposit to minimise speculative reservations. Having been one of those who put down a large deposit for the Tesla Model 3, thus giving Elon Musk some extra cash immediately, I thought Omega would have been charging maybe £500 downpayment on registration.

It is nice that those of us in UK/Europe had this announcement at a decent time, I guess that's all to do with where Speedy Tuesday has its roots.

Watch looks magnificent in my view . A job well done.

Yea if they're aren't more a bit later give it a day and then try there will be many that don't confirm by email but as RJ mentioned as the pool available gets smaller it'll take longer to have one free up.

I'm bummed out. I just woke up, sick with a sore throat (hence the late wakeup), and it won't let me reserve anymore. 🙁

You guys are lucky with the low allocation number. But I am super stoked that I got one.

Took probably a billion refreshes of the page and to my surprise one bounced open to me. Ordered at 6:45 AM PST. <-- Nothing is impossible, keep on refreshing fellow members!

I actually find this so much better looking than the snoopy and I am sure that quite a few others do as well. My personal opinion is that it will actually do much better than the snoopy in the second hand market..
If today is an indication of the available interest at least!!
