just the tip of the iceberg..fun fact: what do you expect when your watchmaker charges you 150 Euros for a full "movement overhaul". As his does. I had 3 unpleasant services there before I decided not to bring watches there anymore. This is the standard for a serviced watch there I guess.

Thank you for your response. I had a small conversation on this topic with @Passover meanwhile.

It sucks if you have a dealer next door that doesn't do his homework.

It's interesting to hear this. I didn't know the seller is to avoid. He usually sells rare and well preserved watches at beyond the price limits, that's what I knew.

The -68 struck my eye today and I wanted to share my observations as he was mentioned in this thread yesterday.

His prices are quite high but that is a thing between seller and buyer.

Yes, you are correct in being careful with your statement and I'm as well not offending this seller in any way. But it seems there are some weak points at least. And then, this is what this forum is for: to help each other and to spot possible problems.

Unacrurate repainted hands

Not only are the hands repainted...but the lume on both hour and minute hand has white paint all over it ::facepalm1::

That would bother me. I guess if you point it out to the seller, he will just say “then don’t buy it.” 🙄
