Hi Guys
My watch has a serial number 29500 which are known for having a brown patina
I’m not sure if my watch has turned brown or faded
Thanks

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, the answer to your pseudo question is going to be subjective, and not objective.

Brown dial 145.022 are typically found in the 2911 and 2960 ranges, IIRC.

I am not seeing any brown in the OP photos, but obviously the owner is in the best position to know. If you don't see brown, it's not brown.

The best way to see if it’s a brown dial is to look at it in sunlight. Any minor trace of brown should be obvious.

I’m not seeing any.

And if it's not obvious ... it's not of interest.

If you have to ask, it’s not really brown. Lots have that warm brassy tone to the dial but not many are brown.

Had this for over ten years now. Slight hints of brown in the beginning but a little more obvious now. A later serial than normally expected and straight writing, the Creeper 😀
