I’m thinking of buying a Speedmaster Panda manufacturer date is around 2008 how much should I be looking to spend on a watch in very good condition I have seen them priced between £2200 -£2800 at used watch dealers in the UK

Any input would be appreciated

I don't know about this model in particular but if you're looking to buy an old watch in excellent condition, with original box and certificates, including all the extra bracelet links; you will always end up on the higher end of the price margin. If it has a (recent) service history expect to pay even a bit more.

That all makes sense I’ll keep looking until I find the watch I really like, can you recommend any particular nice models that are valued at around £2k

anywhere from the 3-5k range USD sounds about right. Completeness and service history will bring a premium.

Only Speedmaster models in that price range are going to be Automatic/Reduced, which are not popular with the purists.
They make a panda Automatic, but they go for quite a bit more than that (2k GBP)

Which model are you looking at? . . Price seems a bit low? . .
