Omega Speedmaster MK40 Triple Date 59 mil serial

Just purchased a 3520.53, but I have never heard of a 59 mil serial. It's typically 55 or 58, there was no picture of the caseback on the listing. Has anyone heard of of a 59 mil Speedmaster? I'm visiting my nearest boutique soon just to double check make sure everything checks out.

I don't have an answer to your question.

I do remember that there was a period of time that I would order every watch catalogue I could every year. I did that in the 90s when I couldn't afford a Seiko. I still remember when this watch came out. What a beauty. The numbers and hands are so fat it seems difficult to read the time but that is hardly the point - it screams I am going fast.
