·For sale is an Omega Speedmaster Automatic MK40 Day Date (ref 3520.53)
Circa 1998 production (5592XXXX serial number) with luminova dial and hands.
As most of us know, this reference has often been featured by Benjamin Clymer & Hodinkee and is also the inspiration for the 10th anniversary Hodinkee Speedmaster.
Aside from the fun & colorful dial, this watch features a beautifully proportioned 39mm stainless steel case, day-date-chronograph complications, and is powered by the automatic cal. 1151 movement.
The sale is for the head only on non-Omega strap with Omega signed stainless steel buckle as shown. No other accessories.
The watch is currently keeping good time and the chrono starts, stop and resets as it should.
Overall condition is very good to excellent, showing some normal wear for an almost 25 year old watch (small dings & scratches, etc). Please inspect the photos for an accurate representation of condition.
