Hi @Archer , hope you’ve been well. I see that you’re a specialist in identifying marui watches. There’s one that caught my eye, would you be able to help verify the model number? It would be greatly appreciated! The photo provided was a bit blur but I see that the serial number is either 58351336 or 58391336

I don't have that information - for that you would need to get an extract of the archives when that service is available again.

Thank you for the quick reply. Please be so kind and enlighten me in the following question: the concerned watch has a 3220 movement (according to the seller this was also the original movement, i.e. no upgrade has been made from an 1140/1143). Based on a quick serial number check (https://serial-number-decoder.co.uk/omega/omega.htm) I also understand that this watch was made in 1998. I am confused: I thought the 3220 was first introduced in 2000. What am I missing or misunderstanding?

thank you!

First issue of the technical guide for the 3220 was 2004, so yes early 2000's for sure.

The change from the 1140/3 to the 3220 is mandatory when serviced at Omega, so if it was serviced there, the movement would have been swapped if it had the 1140/3 originally.

Is the Marui both a panda dial and all white because I bought one as a gift a few months ago so it would be nice to get a quick confirmation.....

Reposting my original comment from 2020 due to no response as I just had a question about the dials..... is the Marui Speedy Reduced only the reverse panda dial? Crown & Caliber sold me an all white Speedy Reduced stating it was a "Marui" but I'm now thinking it's more like an "Albino Speedy Reduced" or something similar.

Thanks for the help!
