Omega Speedmaster from 1972 wanted

Good evening,

I'm new to this world and I'm looking for an Omega Speedmaster from 1972, to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Would any be so kind to pease offer advice on where ti find good buys, indicators of fraud/flase watches, and price range please.

I am not a collector, nor am I in the buying/selling bussiness.

Just be mindful that the are many nuances in using the pricing table on the aforementioned site. Geography, for instances plays a large role as prices in EU and SE Asia tend to be higher than US.

Best is to be active on the forum and do your research on sold examples to gain a much better understanding of market conditions.

Thanks for tips ATWG, well recieved,

I am based in Europe with frequent travles to Africa, ME and Asia but with access to te US market as well, indirecly though.
