Hi All
I ended up just leaving my poor condition DON on my Speedy.
In end I though the good condition DNN looked better, but it wasn’t the original bezel this watch came with
Thanks

That's pretty rough. I'd rather have a decent bezel than a wrecked one, original or not.

Loses value without the original unfortunately

I don't care and I'm not concerned about perceived value. I'd rather have a decent bezel than a wrecked one. And who's to say what's original? Maybe a bezel got replaced early in the watch's life.

The OP has had every possible opinion thrown at him with regard to this bezel in multiple threads. I feel like the consensus was that replacing the bezel with a nicer DNN was totally his call but getting rid of the original DON bezel entirely, which is what he seemed to be contemplating, was met with aghast disbelief.

I might have already said this elsewhere, but you can do what you want with your own watch. The only way your watch loses value by changing the bezel is if you needlessly throw away the original bezel.

Several people have noted to you that making multiple threads about the same topic is poor form. I don’t particularly care myself but at this point I’m honestly curious why you keep doing it. Do you just not know that you can find and reply to your earlier thread, or do you somehow enjoy the negative attention?

This is a free forum, I was simply stating I stayed with the original damage bezel
Nothing more

This is a free forum but it’s also a community with norms and etiquette. I’m really not trying to start a fight but I’m genuinely curious: Several members here mentioned to you that you shouldn’t start multiple threads about the same topic. It’s just the way we do things around here, and it’s also a fairly typical forum custom. I’m honestly wondering why you’re ignoring this plainly stated preference, here now with thread number four about the same watch. Again, if I’m misreading you and you mean no offense, forgive me, but there is a note of defiance here.

Thanks for your note
I really don’t have time to waste explaining
Thanks for all your replies

For posterity’s sake here are the dozen other threads just about bezels for this watch, if anyone should come across this one and attempt to be helpful.

Most of the questions that people have been earnestly asking while trying to be of service can be answered with a read-through of those threads.
