Not even God knows what's in the head of the omega speedmaster design teams head... I doubt they even know by themselves from time to time.
A small second hand in form of a Saturn V?

Beside the CB case... It's as possible as a Saturn V second hand ...

I doubt it but that’s mainly because I see the 66CB lugs, interesting as they are, as a mistake as they were not seen before or since. It’s like a manufacturing oversight. Similarly the Speedmaster Pro 220 error bezel I wouldn’t expect to see again as while interesting, it was a screw-up, and celebrating problems like that isn’t a great idea. Now that said, they did make a brown dial Speedmaster Pro to mimic the browning of some dials so there’s that, but its not as glaring a mistake.

Limited edition Speedmaster should be a radial dial.

I totally agree... But the marketing department maybe...
No one knows...

Seems like too small a nuance to be a focus of a special reissue. Only a very small population would care, or even notice.

Well, they did bring back the 105.012 case profile on the 3861, so someone does pay attention to that sort of thing. It would probably only happen if someone at corporate were to advocate enough for it with a sufficiently compelling case.

Perhaps, it could be used as an interesting differentiator between hesalite and sapphire models.

They have done that already.

I’ve not seen this!

Did they junk it up with silly colors or something?

Perfect imperfection.

On the other hand, we can only guess - maybe or maybe not.

I like reverse pandas but I never gave that a close enough look. But yes, they ( in my opinion) junked it up. No all black dial?
