We have here a very rare bird in the Omega Speedmaster limited edition (LE) from 1983 and the very first 42mm "BI-COLOR" model in DD 145.0022. This particular Speedmaster LE model was made for a very short period from 1982 to 1985 and rarely come to market in it's original unpolished condition and guarantee paper. The onyx hour markers plays off nicely against the grey sub dials that are gilt finished. The original 1171 bracelet with 633 end links will come fully linked and in 85% type condition (There are some pitting near the end links on the 6 o'clock side). The bezel was changed at some point and geared with a black OEM Speedmaster bezel. The plexi glass is original and in very nice shape and the Omega logo is clearly centered. The overall condition is very good for a 32 years old watch (guarantee paper dated in 1985) with wear marks on case sides, some surface scratches on case back and lugs from bracelet change. Again, originality and unpolished nature is the key here. The 861 movement winds nicely and is keeping good time. Service history is unknown and I will include a very nice vintage leather strap with the package which looks totally awesome on this beauty.

If you have been looking for this very rare and collectible bird and with warranty paper, this is a very nice set to consider.
