Omega Speedmaster "BI-COLOR" DD 145.0022 Limited Edition w/ Box & Paper Circa 1985

We have here, the Omega Speedmaster limited edition (LE) from 1983 and the very first 42mm "BI-COLOR" model in DD 145.0022. This particular Speedmaster LE model was made from 1982 to 1985 and rarely come to market in it's original UNPOLISHED condition and with guarantee paper.

The dial has onyx hour markers that contrast nicely against the grey step dials that are gilt finished. The original 1171 bracelet with 633 end links will come fully linked and in 80% type condition. Bezel was changed at some point and replaced with a black OEM Speedmaster bezel. Overall condition is very good for a 32 years old watch (guarantee paper dated in 1985) with wear marks on case sides, surface scratches on case back and lugs from bracelet change. Bracelet is in 80% condition with some wear marks on the end links. Originality and unpolished nature is the key on this neo-vintage rare bird. Lastly, the 861 movement winds nicely and is keeping good time. Service history is unknown and I will include a nice vintage leather strap with the package which looks totally awesome on this beauty.
