Waiting list on Omega's website. Demand will exceed supply by wide margin. That bracelet is a killer. A1 job by Omega. Beautiful caseback, NAIAD too. Like the grey textured dial plus black. Meh on the subdial, but not a deal breaker. Nice packaging, not over the top. Overall, a handsome rendition. Worthy effort.
I agree the cork strap looks out of place, wore but it's a very nice watch. The two tone is well done and not over the top. I like the pushers being stainless.
It is devoid of a strong impact to me. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet. It would have been better if the footprint was etched on subidial and that astronaut on the back IMO.
He said "One small step for a man" but the radio crackled when he said "a" so he's been misquoted as saying "small step for man."
If he truly said "for man" then it's redundant with saying "for mankind" and thus his whole line wouldn't make sense.
To be honest, I'd prefer a standard "upgraded" speedy with this configuration (sapphire/3861). This release doesn't "spark joy" for me, though it is cool.
They will sell all of them, and when they put this movement in standard version the price gap will be a lot less. Can't compare this watch with current SMP.
