Omega Speedmaster 1863 irregular clicking sound

Hey all,
Tonight I had my 4 years old Speedmaster on a table next to the bed, and I was very surprised to hear a sound at irregular intervals, like a drop of water falling in a pool.
I took the watch in the hand, and putting it close to the hear I could hear a sort of “clicking” sound, happening once in a while.
The watch is keeping good time, or at least no different from the time it kept in the last 4 years.
Is this a reason enough to bring it to a boutique and send it to Omega? It should still be under warranty.
Thank you for any help!

Wow I've just tested it and it appears the sound happens only when it's fully wound.
It's almost like a fire tickling, but much less frequently.

Perhaps it is re-banking as it's only happening at full reserve. It usually sounds like a horse galloping so is often called galloping. Have a search on here for a post from Archer with the word galloping - there might be a video and you can hear the effect. This is not a good thing and you should get Omega to look at it.

Cheers, Chris

Try the same test WITH the chronograph operating. It the watch “banks” when fully wound, and the chronograph not operating, the watch should not do that. If the “banking” (tapping sound) disappears with the chronograph running, that might be an indication. What confuses me is that the watch is not gaining A LOT if the escapement is banking. Normally, banking will cause a significant gain in rate.

Thank you guys for your answers!
I've read the posts I've found with mentions of "galloping" and "rebanking" here on the forum, but they were too old for the videos to be still online.
On YT I've found this video of rebanking:
Which is pretty different from what I'm experiencing.

The sound I have here is really like a drop on water, happening at around 6 to 15 seconds intervals.
I'll try to record the sound somehow and come back to you.

I’ve noticed with my 1861 that the sound is very different depending on where the watch is, and the angle at which your ear is to the watch. There’s often times that I feel like mine is making a strange noise, but it is consistent with positioning and placement. I would characterize this as a loud clicking. I suggest you simply experiment with it more and determine if it really does only occur every couple seconds
