Hi all! Up for sale is my Speedmaster 145.022-69 SW Apollo XI with extract (delivered to Japan, dated May 19th, 1971). This is the rare Apollo XI straight writing caseback (~500 made). Will come fitted on a custom brown Horween shell cordovan strap (will fit up to 6.5 inches) with period vintage Omega (MG) buckle. Extract will be digital for now as I have not received the physical copy yet; I will gladly mail it out when it arrives, however. Apologies for the poor movement shots, as I am using the photos the last seller provided me. The good: -nice attractive dial with yellow luminous material intact. -case sharp with straight facets, maintaining brushed sides and lugs; unpolished caseback -handset in good condition -original 70's crown and crystal -clean, original movement that runs and sets well (+-8 seconds a day); last seller states it was serviced in 2018. -bezel has faded to a blue-grey ghost tone (may be a 'bad' to some!) -extract The bad: -I had replaced the minute and hour subdial counters (correct and NOS) as they were damaged during a hand reset (I will include the original hands) -some damage on the chronohand (note the horizontal lines just above the base). -small splotch by the 11 o clock marker -some pitting between the lugs -very minor pitting on bottom right corner of dial where it meets the tension ring -case back has a few opening marks I think given the above, this piece sits above a 'good' but below 'very good' on the Speedmaster101 price chart. $7000USD via PayPal Friends including fully insured shipping. The watch and I are located in Vancouver, B.C. and I am open to F2F meet ups as well. Trades will be considered. I have been buying and selling watches on eBay for 5 years with 100% feedback and I have completed a successful transaction here on OF a few months ago (sold my E855 Memovox!). Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you OF! Amrit
