·Selling my OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Apollo XI - Numbered Edition (A 0819, 1 of 1000), Ref. 345.0808, PIC code 3592.50, in fully functional condition. This is my absolute favourite reference of the "PostMoon" Speedmasters. The only reason to sell it: I got another example of this reference.
This is the first reference featuring the beautiful yellow Cal. 863 (decorated variation of Cal. 861).
Number on the caseback bezel is A 0819, S/N 482403xx (Full S/N available, if needed) is in the correct range for this edition (48240xxx - 48251xxx). These were only produced between 1988 and 1990.
The watch has aged well with a lovely patina. The dial has vanilla hour plots as is often seen with this reference. Dial is correct C4 with tall and closed S. The bezel is correct B2 dot close to 70 - narrow C. Hands are correct tritium baton with flat end chrono.
The case appears unpolished to me with several marks commensurate with age. Original A3 wide 24t crown and type 4 wide & tall pushers. The case back is correct D3 stamped Apollo XI and numbered A 0819.
The watch is running fine, winding is smooth, it is keeping time well and everything is working as it should. It was serviced in 2016 by my watchmaker. Pictures are part of the description. Please excuse dust and spots present in pictures.
The watch is not returnable.
It will come with an original OMEGA inner and outer Box, that I received with the watch, when I bought it in December 2015. Unfortunately these boxes are not known for aging well and this one is not an exception (please see pictures).
Following options are available:
- Price on a good original Omega 1450 bracelet with 808 ends: CHF 5900.00 net to me.
- Price head only (if you do not need the 1450 bracelet): CHF 4900.00 net to me.
Terms and conditions. Amount in CHF (USD | EURO | GBP equivalent to be discussed) wired directly to my Wise account. Bankwire will be local to you, so no stress there. More currencies are available upon request. No trades this time thanks.
The watch and I are in Switzerland, and so F2F could happen here. I could arrange to meet at a border location in Germany (to be discussed). I will accept a wire directly to my Swiss bank account too, however that will be in CHF, and will thus cost you conversion and transfer fees, if you are not located in Switzerland. Paypal F&F will be accepted, in CHF as specified. I use Wise as it saves you on these fees, and is a local transaction for us both. Returns are accepted only if grossly misrepresented. You will get what you see in these pictures which are of a decent quality, so I don't believe there is any chance of misrepresentation.
Shipping (plus insurance) to wherever you are in the world will be at your expense (to be discussed). EU postage can be arranged.
